We ship constantly, but we don't always stop to tell you what changed. So here's the summer roundup — everything new in Nomadtable over the last few months, and why we built it.

live location sharing in chats

The most requested safety feature we've ever had. You can now share your live location directly inside any Nomadtable chat — with an activity group while you're finding each other at a crowded meeting point, or with a friend back home while you're out at a meetup.

It's opt-in, it's time-limited, and it stops the moment you tell it to. "Where are you? I'm by the fountain. Which fountain??" conversations are officially retired.

trip timelines and fellow travelers

Add your upcoming trips and Nomadtable now shows you who else will be in that city while you're there — before you even land. The timeline view lays out overlapping travelers by date, so you can say hi in the city chat, or plan a dinner for your first night instead of spending it alone with room service.

polls in group chats

Every group of travelers eventually hits the "so... what do we actually want to do?" wall. Group chats now support polls, so picking between the hike, the food market, and the beach takes one tap instead of forty messages.

photo verification badges

Verified profiles now display a badge across the app. Verification is optional and reviewed by a real member of our safety team — no creepy face-scanning tech, and your verification selfie is deleted within 7 days. It's a simple signal that the person you're meeting looks like their photos. You can read exactly how it works in our privacy policy.

your travel map

Your profile now has a world map that fills in as you travel — countries you've been, stamps you've collected. It's half brag wall, half conversation starter, and honestly one of the most fun things we've built.

smarter AI suggestions on the map

When you're somewhere new and don't know where to start, the map now suggests activity ideas based on what's actually around you — a viewpoint hike, a night market, a neighborhood worth wandering. Tap one to instantly turn it into a real plan other travelers can join.

what's next

More safety tooling, better city chats, and some things we're not ready to talk about yet. If there's something you wish Nomadtable did, tell us at support@nomadtable.app — a surprising amount of our roadmap starts as a user email.
